What This Privacy Policy Covers

Machismo Plus is an independent consumer-research platform reviewing male and female sexual wellness supplements. The site is operated by Gregory Berryman, sole trader (ABN 83 951 623 827), based in Victoria, Australia, trading as Machismo Plus.

In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Gregory Berryman trading as Machismo Plus. We do not sell products, process payments, or ship orders. All purchases happen on the manufacturer's website after you click an outbound link.

This policy explains what limited data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who else may receive it, and the rights you have over it.

What We Do Not Collect

Because we do not sell products on this site, we do not collect:

Names, shipping addresses, billing addresses, or phone numbers
Payment card data, bank details, or any financial information
Health records, medical history, or any sensitive health information you have not voluntarily emailed us
Account passwords, since the site has no login or member area for readers

If a manufacturer's website collects any of the above after you click an outbound affiliate link, that collection is governed by the manufacturer's own privacy policy, not ours.

What We Do Collect

The site collects a small amount of standard web traffic and analytics data:

Anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, time on page, country and region (not precise location), device type, referring source, and similar non-identifying signals.
Technical session data through Shopify and Cloudflare: IP address (used for security and bot prevention, not stored long-term as an identifier), browser type, and operating system.
Voluntary contact data: if you email us at editor@machismoplus.com, your email address and the contents of your message are stored only for the purpose of responding to you.
Affiliate click events: when you click a link to a manufacturer's site, the manufacturer's affiliate network records the click for commission attribution. We do not control or store this data; the manufacturer does.

Data Retention

Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, typically up to 12 months. Anonymous Google Analytics data is retained according to the default GA4 retention period of 14 months. Server logs used for security are retained by Cloudflare and Shopify according to their respective retention policies. We do not maintain any long-term database of identifiable reader information.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Backend security is managed by Shopify and Cloudflare under their standard infrastructure protections. No system is fully invulnerable; readers are responsible for keeping their own devices and email accounts secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in services we use or in applicable law. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last reviewed" date below. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
